checking for jades - the jade found by our tour guide who gave it to us to make pendants for later on - we were brought to this small factory/workshop called Taiwan Jade. the father who was incharge of the workshop gave us a basic introduction of Taiwanese jade and showed us the procedure of making our own jade pendants. the jade was cut into a few simple shapes for us to grind and polish (while we were not professional to deal with other steps, his sons help us with some steps like cuting, drilling, etc) -
