unfortunately, we are not trained to love what we do. all that you are trained for is to get high marks, to pass examinations, and to prepare for a good job."

Thailand: Land of Smiles. Whose smiles?
concept by twahc
photos: © Post photographers and agencies
Despite the riots in Bangkok, Thailand known as the land of smiles, citizens still need to carry on with their daily lives.
Are the citizens filling the smiles in this piece of land or is it that it has always been the people incharge(d) smiling?

Wow. That must be Art.
It does not seem to matter especially to those who think Art is not associated in their daily lives and to those, who does not take any effort to know more about Art.
To the majority, as long as 'something' can not be categorized or understood by the masses, the 'something' is called work of art.
There are definitions/opinions/theories/bullsh*ts on what is Art, however there seem to be no absolute answer (atleast for now) on what Art is. Perhaps, if Art is so easily defined, Art would be insignificant.
Is merely a painting/drawing/sculpture/illustrations/cute things/appeals to the masses recognized as Art?
or
Is 'I am a friend of this great/famous artist' makes the person another great artist?
or
as long as 'something' is expensive or limited edition (does not matter limited to how many pieces in the world), they are art?
or
Is it something that can not be categorized and understood by the masses, is Art?
